Lukulu Fishing Lodge offers 4 very comfortable and private chalets each built on the edge of the Zambezi River. Each chalet has two three quarter beds, mosquito nets and room for an extra bed  if required, it’s own private toilet, double basin, hot showers  and a verandah overlooking the river.

There are plug points for charging your phones between the beds. The windows are screened with mosquito gauze. As the rooms are very open, they are cool but fans are provided in the hotter summer months.

Canvas blinds can be dropped should it rain or for warmth in the winter months.




The entertainment area is the ideal place to catch up on the days fishing tales and no exaggeration is needed as the fish really are ‘ THAT ‘ big.

It consists of a large dining table, a tea and coffee station, a fully stocked bar, a very comfortable lounge area and an entertainment table to sit around and chat. Outside is a stunning fire pit area overlooking the river and open to the stars.

Tea and coffee will be brought to you in the mornings before you start your day. Depending on your plans, you can arrange a packed breakfast to go or you will be offered a hearty cooked breakfast in the entertainment area.

Again lunch will be provided according to what you have planned for the day. You can take a packed lunch or return to the lodge for something light and delicious after a dip in the pool . We will also organize a picnic or braai out on a river bank at least once on your trip.

Dinners are three course meals, home cooked and delicious, prepared by our very experienced chefs.

You will love the food and be very surprised at what is produced for you in such a remote part of the world.
